We met each other in Eilat, Israel, we were both working as diving instructors. We had crazy summer love and the rest is history…
Before the boat chapter we lived in a van in Israel and fell in love with this way of life. Living humble and close to nature made us happy and we decided this is how our life should look like. The big dream was a boat and then covid came and made us take the best decision of our life!
It is important to us that every single one that is joining our journey will know that this dream is possible- everyone can do that, it’s just a matter of decision! Thank you and welcome to OceanJade family!

Yifat, an Israeli girl, 29 years old. The sea and me are in a long-distance relationship: I have a master’s degree in marine biology, have been sailing for the last five years. I’m a diving instructor since 2015, freediver and a kite surfer. Long story short- if there’s water- I’m there. The sea is my therapy. I’ve been through my life a lot, and found my comfort there.
Kiddo is the best thing ever happened to us. She is actually a seal! She loves surfing, feeling super comfortable inside water and enjoys sailing life. She is very happy when she’s with us and we are very happy as well. This wouldn’t be the same without her.
Tomer, the genius, talented boy that started this journey with almost zero experience and now is a professional sailor and the one that makes this life possible. Why you ask? Because he can do everything on his own. And to do it the best. He is a mechanical engineer, diving instructor, kite surfer and free diver.
